ruptured achilles
Here I sit in hospital after surgery on my “ruptured Achilles tendon”, after 2 weeks of laying around waiting, the surgery was all over in 45 mins and I didn’t feel a thing (thank god for general anesthetic).
It seems this is a common injury for “Weekend Warriors” who play tennis. I was playing tennis but it was a Tuesday night! So maybe I am a Midweek Warrior? 
If interested in discusting photos - here and here and here are some very disturbing ones of ruptured Achilles Tendons… thank god I didn’t look at these before surgery.
Seems I am going to be immobile for a long time (apparently it’s 9 months until I am running again). So I guess I may as well invest some time into this “social media” stuff again.

I am absolutely STUNNED and disgusted that Barry Hall was let off by the AFL tribunal and only fined $3k. Apparently I am completely out of touch with what is acceptable in the AFL today….
