About Clay Cook

Clay Cook Profile Image

If I were described by “tags” I would possibly read like… Internet Entrepreneur, High Net Worth Individual, Angel Investor (previously), Husband, Father, Surfer, Tennis Player, Movie Addict, Australian, Perth, Friendly, Calm.

I have never had a “real job”. I started a Search Engine Marketing firm (ineedhits) in my parents study way back in 1996 at the age of just 21 with no funding, whilst completing my Degree in Economics. By 2003, with the help of my wife (and business partner), we were able to lead the company to a position where it was generating over $7M in revenue with good profit margins, for which ineedhits was named the 5th fastest growing company in Australia as measured by BRW Fast 100.

ineedhits is still 100% owned by Rachel and I and continues to grow (over 5,500 active monthly paying customers). It is now managed by the current CEO in Warren Duff and also an experienced Senior Managment Team. I am no longer “heavily” involved in the day to day runnings of the company, however I do help out where I can in the business development and product side of things.

In 2006 I co-founded Minti, a leading worldwide parent to parent community. I was the CEO until Rachel took over the reigns towards the end of 2009.

Main current business interests include…
